This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Artist's Description
My main objective while at Harriman State Park in New York, was to photograph the various Mountain Laurel that were in full bloom by the water's edge.
This part of the excursion came with mixed results, due to in part by the rather brisk wind that agitated the lake's surface, therefore cancelling out any chances of reflections and even more aggravating, causing too much movement in the mountain laurel which in turn would produce blurring.
I was able however, able to find a few secluded areas that were not exposed to the wind, and I was successful in capturing a few worthy images to share, this being one of the. This intimate and detailed scene was just one of the handful that I came away with that late spring morning.
I am honored to be able to offer my photography of the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York and beyond for all of your purchasing considerations.
