I was finally able to make it back out to my second favorite sunrise spot.
I really just wanted to check on the progression of the flowers. In the past they had made a great foreground, but it was only a very small patch that was left. This time was quite different. They were everywhere.

It was a cool 54 degrees and foggy. Just after the light started to penetrate the darkness, this is what briefly unfolded.
There are really no words to describe how beautiful this moment was, so I guess I'll have to let the image do the talking.

I started photography in 2012. I grew up in a small town in West Virginia and lived there most of my life. Growing up around Tucker County, I constantly had the opportunity to visit all the surrounding state parks and scenic landscapes. I was probably a little spoiled in that respect. I now reside in Maryland, but West Virginia will always hold a special place in my heart. I will photograph just about anything, but I prefer landscapes the most. Recently I've been fascinated with astrophotography combined with landscape photography. It's just such a challenge. My main camera is the one I happen to have in my hand, but I prefer my Nikon D7200 paired with my Rokinon 10mm Ultrawide lens. In the future, I hope to invest in a longer lens so I...
